I launched Bridging The Gap because I wanted the freedom to work with organisations who want to make a difference to people’s lives. I have seen what is possible when voices that often go unheard are given the opportunity to speak and be listened to when brought together with others, and the lasting impact this can have.
My Business beliefs
Beyond Tokenism - People are not commodities but individuals who each come with a lifetime of experience that is incredibly valuable and always growing. Connecting people with shared or similar experiences is a powerful means to shaping the future. Bringing together different experiences brings variety, vitality and learning, uniting a diverse body of equals who can work together to produce fresh and innovative work.
Fairness and Transparency - Being upfront and honest about the aims, intentions, and approach to each project is key. Setting reasonable expectations, signposting limitations, and establishing and maintaining a dialogue with all involved parties is key to a successful business practice.
Be Courageous - Making a choice to be different and to challenge the status quo is rarely easy, and will draw some people in whilst making others wary. . Regular data analysis, feedback, and consultation will flexibly guide our decisions and priorities, taking a flexible and fluid strategic approach in order to drive the vision forwards.
Strong Foundations - Know your strengths. Careful analysis of current working practice allows for greater understanding, breaking away from unhelpful cycles or behaviours, and allowing for a clearer vision of how best to progress forwards.
Always Learning - Every project is an opportunity to learn. Each individual involved commits to a process of continuous engagement and development. Regular testing and feedback allows for conscientious growth, where parties can seek out or administer additional training where needed to establish a bold and informed working practice.

All projects will be:
Socially responsible - it's important that the way the project is delivered is responsible as well as the final outcome. We will work to include and add as much social value to a project delivery plan as we can
Sustainable - We will work together to build and bolster your capability not your dependency.
Impact - more than just the immediate people who are involved in the project should benefit. The project will improve people's lives in some way, perhaps making work feel better or perhaps a wider benefit. We will identify at different stages of the project what the impact will be and evaluate the impact throughout the project and after it finishes.
